Finally, at 11 months, the first check came. It only took 9 months for them to garnish wages - amazing!! I should not have believe Ellis those first two months when he said he'd pay me, it ended up costing 3 months of lost child support. I was so happy when the check arrived, I cried.Zoe loves to go up and down the stairs. On Easter she followed my instructions when I said, "Turn around" and she did, to back down the stairs (normally, mom and I would turn her around).
She also loves to clap her hands together when we sing "patty-cake" and she gets a big smile on her face. When she plays in her crib she loves to look at her little books and talk to her dolls.
She is talking a lot more too, but I still don't understand a lot of what she says. Every day is a new adventure and she is learning so quickly.

Yay, yay, yay -- three cheers for child support!!!! What a relief, Tori, and an ordeal. Here's to hoping it's smooth sailing, i.e. automatic wage garnishment -- from here on out.
Can't wait to see you & babbling Zoe tomorrow night! -- k. xo
