The first child support check arrived on 3-21-08

Finally, at 11 months, the first check came. It only took 9 months for them to garnish wages - amazing!! I should not have believe Ellis those first two months when he said he'd pay me, it ended up costing 3 months of lost child support. I was so happy when the check arrived, I cried.

Zoe loves to go up and down the stairs. On Easter she followed my instructions when I said, "Turn around" and she did, to back down the stairs (normally, mom and I would turn her around).

She also loves to clap her hands together when we sing "patty-cake" and she gets a big smile on her face. When she plays in her crib she loves to look at her little books and talk to her dolls.

She is talking a lot more too, but I still don't understand a lot of what she says. Every day is a new adventure and she is learning so quickly.

Stairs, gravity and more teeth

Mom has been teaching Zoe to crawl up and down the stairs, it's adorable. She also likes to hold onto our fingers so she can walk, but she has not ventured any steps on her own.

She has two more bottom teeth coming in. She also threw up on me for the first time, at 2am. Poor baby. She loves to dance and wave hello now.

Still not child support. I'm still holding out home that it will come before her first birthday. She'll be 11 months old next week.

She loves to stand in her crib and drop toys. Gravity is fun!
