Zoe went to the la&a art show for her 1st Birthday. She missed her birthday dinner at Le Zinc (so she didn't have cake) because she only had a 30 min nap during the day. She and Henry both spent their 1st bday together (Zoe went to the zoo with Henry for his bday).Her top 4 bottom and top teeth are in, but two more top teeth are coming in, poor girl. What a birthday gift - pain! Ellis didn't call. Shocking, I know, yet still sad and wrong.
She likes to dance and hit people in the face. She and Henry laugh a lot together, it's very cute.
She's pushing chairs around now, so I guess that is progress, but she still is not taking any steps by herself. I wonder when she'll be ready to walk. My living room looks like a preschool with a million toys and books all over the place. She pushes the train that Crystal gave her for Christmas around and pushes the music button so she can dance to it. Right now, Zoe is throwing all of the blocks out of the container. Occasionally she'll examine one before she throws it.
Zoe loves phones. She smiles when people talk to her on the phone, but doesn't talk back yet. Recently I asked her if she wanted more eggs and she shook her head no. Just to be sure I tried to hand over another spoonful and she jerked her head aways as if to say, "Duh! I already told you no!" -- it was pretty cool.
Vega trimmed her skulett recently. Zoe cried and cried, we probably should have waited for her to fall asleep, she was tired and not feelin' it! She points to things and says, "goo" and "ohhhhh" and sometimes it sounds like she says "up" and stuff like that. She's the best! I'm looking forward to her joint birthday party on June 14th with her Grandpa who turns 60 on the 16th.
