Squeak!

Zoe is making lots of fun new sounds. She squeaks a lot and laughs and is so adorable.

Last night sort of felt like my old life, but I missed Zoe, so it was different. I met Andrew at Casanova with a couple of his friends around 11:45pm. We were out until about 3am. Zoe had her first over night with grandma and grandpa. They said she was wonderful. I woke up at 4am and missed her and woke again at 8am feeling the same way. I finally called around 8:45am to see if she was ready to come home. They say separation anxiety is common for babies around now (she'll 7.5 months old now), but I think it's worse for me. I just miss her all the time when she's not around but I know it's also good to have time apart. Mom and dad took her to a company dinner on Friday night and mom said she was the belle of the ball. Everybody passed her around and loved her.

Zoe scoots around on her belly, she pulls herself around with her hands and slides on the wood floor. She pets the floor and is curious about everything. She's has a good appetite and now when she's hungry she opens and closes her mouth like she's eating the air, to let me know she's hungry. It's cute.
