The 2nd paternity test restults are in and they said exactly the same thing the first test said: Ellis is 99.99% the father of Zoe. Duh! -sigh- I think Ellis should apologize to me for making us go through this charade a second time. I'm also irritated with him because I have to fill out even more paperwork for our court date next month because he won't just be a man and pay child support on his own. Some people, I swear...She will be 7 months old next week and she weighs 12.6 pounds and is 25.5 inches long. She loves almost all food we give her but she hates bananas. She gags and makes a funny face, and spits them out. If I try to give her a second bite, she won't open her mouth. They say that their tastes change and she might like it next time, but so far I've tried three times and she still hates it, so I'm going to wait a while before I torture her again.
Zoe has been rocking back and forth on her hands and knees (precrawling development). She's also been standing while holding on to the coffee table, it's very cute. She's always loved to stand and she likes to hold on to my fingers while standing on my lap a lot too.
She can crawl backwards a bit, and turn in circles (this is also common precrawling behavior). Last night she tried to go forward and ended up kind of falling on her face, but it was on the bed, so it didn't hurt her. She looks like an inch worm these days. The precrawling time is frequently a frustrating period for babies and she's been a bit more fussy lately. She also might be getting her top teeth in soon. Mom and Marilyn both said they think they saw white caps, but I haven't seen them yet.
She loves animals. When Nikki, Piper, Kanga and Roo are around, she pets them. Usually she is very gentle, but of course some times she pulls their fur and they take off. She smiles at them all the time, it's adorable.
Right now she is sound asleep on my lap. Photo: Little devil on Halloween
