Apparently, Ellis is delusional.Last week I went to the child support office to get an update and they told me his lawyer filed an answer to the request for child support and the answer was demanding a paternity test. I asked how this was possible since we already did that and they have a copy of the results saying he's the father. Apparently, he can request another one since that was done by a private company. They told me I could petition in cour to allow the first test and not do a second test, but the judge would probably just allow the second test. I thought he might be doing this just to draw things out and that was really irritating to think he'd do that. They said I'd be looking at December or January before I get a child support check now. I left Ellis a message that night and asked him to call me. He didn't call me back until Saturday the 22nd. I asked him why he was doing this. As always, he was silent. After a long time I asked, "Are you going to answer me?" More silence. Finally, he said in a very angry voice, "I have a right to know the TRUTH!" I thought he was kidding. "What are you talking about Ellis? We already did the test - you saw the results, so why are you really doing this?" More silence. Eventually he said, "That was the test you wanted me to take." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Do you really think the test results aren't accurate?" More silence. Finally I said, "Let me guess - you didn't tell your lawyer that you already took the test." Silence. Our phone call was 30 minutes long, but mostly just filled with silence. His level of denial is really quite frightening and disturbing!
Photo: I know it's hard to read, but it's of our first paternity test. It says Ellis "cannot be excluded as the biological father" which means he IS the biological father. Here is more info about it: http://www.genelex.com/paternitytesting/paternitygood.html
